Despite the Latin roots of the word (religere means to respect or revere), there's little reverence in religion - but lots of ego and divisory oneupmanship. After all, God is all around us, but many people who profess love for God have little or no respect for their fellow beings nor for sacred nature. Soooo, any personal God capable of creating such miserable creeps as humans would have to be a creep too. Anyway, the idea of a personal God is infantile. My first question was rhetorical; God is nature. What do you think?

God didn't create miserable creeps..they turned into that....some of them, anyway.
No, I do not think God is nature. He made nature.
God's desire was for man to have wonderful, abundant life. It started out that way. But he gave us a will of our own, rather than making us robots. People choose to go their own way and leave God's provision and protection. But for those who choose to, they can reverse it and have eternal, abundant, wonderful life in haeven when their time on Earth is over by following God.
