God absolutley DOES exist and he deserts knowbody here on earth.
When yuor soul leaves your body, you will be judged. It is only then that you may or may not be abandoned by God. we will all find out in time.
But, while you're here, you can ask for forgiveness of sins and be atoned for them. How you lead your life from there is up to you. Draw close to God and he will draw close to you.

Ask God. He is not responsible for our actions. But the question is what do you mean by God. I serve what I believe to be God, because i FEEL THAT IS THE CORRECT THING TO DO.
