look at many celebrities..Britney Spears, she would look really latina if she would dye her hair black same with Jessica Simpson. Does the USA wants to keep a white image that not longer really exist.
In Nyc I have seen a lot of "American girls" who have jewish apperiance with fake blond hair. Many actors look really latinos just with English last names. Is America becoming like any other southamerican country?

Ha ha, Try it yourself you may like it for all I know. Or hot red, or cool black maybe chestnut brown that glimmers.
Or be real bold and go with pastels.
No the real people are still there maybe no one is recognizing them. Does the US want to keep an image you ask -I would ask , who sells the dye and who is buying it.
Last part of this question are we becoming like any other South America country-----I don't know I am from the Northeast--anything south of Minnesota or Illinois or Michigan or New York looks a bit different to me. I think many from Canada feels the same way so they tell me.. When I lived in different regions my view on this changed (west from east, north from south, southwest from east west or northeast). Expand that to a world map, no I don't think we are alike in that way. Just my view/ ha

You have a point there. But I think that by being blonde they think they are going to look better for the men that admire them. I don't think that this decision on their part have nothing to do with being more or less white. Remember that men rather have them blond. But you do have a point that we should respect. Thank you for your observation. In your other question about the USA becoming more like a Southamerican country,,, I don't really think so, there are a lots of different aspects that divide us. Now if you talk about a particular state and a particular country that could be but not the whole United States, we are too different. Good luck and have anice day.

Jessica Simpson did dye her hair brunette once and it looked beautiful. Jessica is a gorgeous woman, and only a hater would dare to debate that. Britney, on the other hand, can dye her hair purple and she'll still be white trash. Yes, a lot of American women go blonde, but I think they're just having fun with it. I'm not sure they're trying to be "white" necessarily...

just my $.02....

Britney Spears,Jessica Simpson, look latino? First off they are too tall, they are the wrong body type (thin tall, slim face, non dumpy), and no broken english.
Why would you say that the American image no longer exist, Jewish girls? Unless you hear a Jewish girls last name how do you judge that they are Jewish? The goal here is to NOT let the negative culture take over here. Remember English only country trying to be inforced.

I die my hair blonde. Why? Coz it's grey and dark hair on old ladies looks like dyed dark hair on old ladies. I'd go my natural grey but it's not a pretty grey and until I need it to blend in with my walker....I'm gonna drag out time as long as I can. I was born with red hair and I'm 100% American. White people aren't dissappearing and we come with all hair colors and textures. Different color eyes too. Isn't that amazing? Even when I was young and if I died my hair dark.....I couldn't have passed for latino or anything other than a white girl. Nope....dark ,sultry ,I could never have pulled that off....

What? Jessica Simpson is a natural blonde. Britney Spears is naturally light brown. You came to America. You are going to see Americans. Why do you want Americans to look like Latinos? Go back home if that's what you want.

If you talk to a "beauty" expert they will tell you that after about 25 very very few people have natural blond hair.

I don't know what the thing is with ethnic groups and trying to imitate the White girl/ White boy look, especially when they are always bashing Whitey. The black woman with long straight hair, especially if it is dyed blond (or red) is thumbing her nose up at her own ethnic group. Same with the Mexican with the bright blond hair, it looks ridiculous and they to are showing that they do not have "Latino Pride" by copying Europeans or maybe the Bask.

Use your natural look, no matter who you are and you will be beautiful.

American women dye their hair any color they want because they can. They aren't held as property here and have the right to be who they want to be or look as they wish or work as they wish. They have the right to drive, to own property, to be equal human beings. I wonder what possesses a man to want a woman that must obey. What a bore! I love to look at what women men choose as partners-to see how secure the man is by his choice.
Today is a big day for women in the US. Nancy Pelosi became the first woman Speaker of the House. What do you think of that?

America has long been a mixture of different cultures, and I beleive Irish and Native Americans also have dark hair, so it's not just the "latinos" that bring that look to our country. Eventually we will all look the same anyway, so again, my point, is who cares? Seriously?
