medium skin tone is one factor but you also have to consider your natural hair color and your eye color and your cut. First if your Hair is cut short you have better luck with a darker color. Medium length can be whatever but mostly the in-between hair color like blonde-brown or cherry-black. With long hair you'll want light colors and by light i mean you can go light blonde, Rust, Platinum and even fire engine red. (Be Bold)
As for eye colors you'll want something to compliment them so you don't look totally fake and out of place. For blue try a blonde or blondish-brown. For Hazel or grey go for Black. If you have gree go for the Reds and the Mix colors. If you have brown eyes go with a shade of brown for your hair.
Now your natural hair color plays a huge role as to if you actually dye the whole thing or just add highlights and low lights. If you have Black Hair and you aren't thinking about the whole Cherry-Black hair thing you'll need to bleach your hair. If your hair is blonde you have pretty much free range but watch trying reds because they go a little orange with blondes. Brown hair is probably the best to work with since it has a mutable genetic code which means it will hold dye.
Good luck i Hope you are happy with the results!

I would do highlights, not allover color. If your hair is brown, caramel of honey highlights would probably fit, but I would most definitely opt to go to the salon rather than to do it yourself with WalMart stuff. It's worth the money. If you lighten your hair, it's permanent. even if you put a darker color over it, it won't be the same.

sure. i'm getting mine colored each so often even as i bypass in to have it shrink. i attempt to bypass with organic-searching colorings, like diverse hues of brown. One time it got here out darkish red. It looked very well, inspite of the indisputable fact that it soooo wasn't me! Had it dyed merely very last weekend. it truly is a medium-darkish colour of brown with some low-lighting fixtures. looks way extra effective than earlier.

If you have never colored your hair, DON'T!! I'll guess your hair is dark brown/black? You can go to a salon and get a semi-permanent "enhancer." Try something like that before you go ahead and ruin your hair. There is a question on here about a girl who darkened her hair and decided to go light, then dark again. You shoud read it!
