Yes, it will fit in a garage door. The a/c will work with the top off, but you won't feel much of the affect. You will feel a little of the cooler air, but the open air is much nicer than any air conditioner....the soft top is very noisy going down the road, but is much more universal than the hard top. I prefer the hard top, but overall, I like the NO top idea....I haven't heard of any having the brake helper. ........Road noise comes from the make, brand and aggressiveness of the tires you have on. A regular road tire, is not to bad. in a jeep, I like the aggressive noise from tires, not from the soft top. Hope this helps......ps, I have a 93 Renegade, and a 49 willy, and I wouldn't part with either. I'm looking for an 05 or 06 model wrangler now.

A new Jeep Wrangler is about 72" high. Standard garage doors are 80" high.

The A/C will work regardless of type or position of top. The A/C will only be effective with the cabin closed, just as on a car. If you're looking at a new Jeep, the modular Freedom top is insulated but easily removable.

The new Jeeps have soft tops that collapse and fold similar to most convertible cars, and are much easier to use than the pre-'97 models where the soft tops are just like a tent, and tedious to raise and lower. Hard tops are more comfortable in extreme temps, much quieter on the road, and more resistant to damage and theft, but not nearly as much fun in nice weather because they are heavy and time consuming to add / remove.

No hill-holder type clutch. New Jeeps Wranglers do have a center-console handbrake you can use to hold the vehicle at a stop on grade while clutch is disengaged, though. Or just learn to heel-and-toe where you operate both brake and throttle with right foot...very handy technique for hills.

I'd recommend finding a Jeep with the full front doors, these come as a package with a hardtop, but optional with the soft tops. This makes using a Wrangler much nicer in bad weather, because you'll be able to see out the side windows better and you won't have the noise and aggravation of a yard of clear vinyl flapping around in the wind.

Answers as follows, assuming you are talking about "Jeep Wrangler"

1 - You can easily fit in single garage ... not sure about "door" i have Jeep Grand Cherokee, can easily fit in single Garage! but if you have big bally then you may experience bit difficulty of getting out of it... but should be OK for Jeep Wrangler though! means you can have big bally!

2 - Yes A/C works OK if top is off, but for effective cooling, you may need to divert "cool" A/C air on Ur feet! but if top is on then you can have cool air on anywhere!

3 - Soft top is soft and hard top is hard! Soft top is made of fabric and hard top is metal alloy

4 - You can press break , clutch and gas at the same time!! only octopus can do that!

5 - Yes noise level is high in soft top as well as hard top, but hard top is better, but hey!! that's what Jeep Wrangler is for!!
