You need to weekly treatmetns to your hair. And you should be using a serum not a creame to protect it. A creame will just steam off the serum is oil based so really penitrates the hair shaft protecting it from the heat.
Product suggestions:
Shampoos;
Matrix Biolage Ultra Hydrating Shampoo
Paul Mitchell Instant Moisture Shampoo
Conditioners;
Matrix Biolage Detangling Solution
Paul Mitchell Instant Moisture Treatment
Feel free to mix and match lines its fine to do it its actually a myth that you should use all of the same line!
Treatment for dryness;
Goldwell Dry and Porus leave in serum (2 treatments in a bottle depending on how much hair you have needs to be done at least 2Xa month or more)
Joico Kpac Deep Penetrating Treatment
Paul Mitchell Instant Hair Repair
Joico's and Paul Mitchells treatments how you are going to want to use them is wehn you get outta the shower towel dry hair then put some of the treatment in ur hair then grab either a plastic shower cap or plastic wrap and place over hair. then heat it up once all on head with blowdryer (this opens cuticle of hair shaft so treatment cna get in and repair) then place towel over plastic on head to hold in heat good leave on for about 15 minutes then rinse style the way you want to wear it. do that only 2 times a week at the most for a few weeks or do it everyother week when it feels really dry.
Styling and Protecting;
Matrix Smoothing Serum
Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum
Catwalk Camera Ready
Joico Shine Serum
Biosilk Shine Serum
Any of these products will work fine before and after flat iron leaving hair shiney soft and frizz free while it protects fromheat causing damage. use only 1-2 drops of these products and never place directally on roots otherwise you will be a grease ball. But if you pick your products outta this list of stuff you should be all set you only need about one from each! also make sure you are using ceramic plates on your flat iron. Hope this works for you

Use a ceramic flat iron, not the cheap ones with metal plates. Also make sure your hair is dry before you start straightening. Protectant cream is just going to coat your hair, which can make it look a little better, but won't repair any damage. Unfortunately, nothing will actually fix it. Heat will damage your hair, so the best thing you can do is make sure you get trimmed frequently. You can put a shine treatment on it, like Clairol Shine Happy, or condition it with V05 Hot Oil; both will make your hair appear smoother and glossier, but damage is inevitable.

If you straightened it every day - it's bound to get damaged. Leave off the straighteners for a little while and then get it cut so all those split ends have gone.

You could straighten it using a straightening balm and cold blast on the hairdryer, this also gives it more volume which is totally in this season. And remember, natural waves are too, so don't worry about that it's not in fashion because it is! Also, use a really good hair protection spray like GHD (even if you don't use GHDs or Paul Mitchell)..

Good luck!

The heat from the straightener will damage your hair no matter what. Lowering the heat control will help but you will still have breakage. Try a style that doesn't require heat for a while to gain back the strength and health of your hair.

fruitis (that green bottle) sampoo & conditioner for dry hair works great, so use that when showering, then after blow drying or air drying put bio silk oil (not to much like a drop the size of a dime) to protect it from the damage a straightener does to your hair, its also better not to wash your hair EVERYday, you need to let your natural oils protect it, or it will end up falling out (not bald) but losing alot more then normal

I straighten my hair everyday.. I have to wash my hair everyday too but there are plenty people that wait a day or two to wash out products...I use biosilk or chi oil in my hair also try the serum from Paul Mitchell. yes these products can be costly but it does not take a lot to do the job. If you color you hair on top of that, then yes your hair will damage even more. In order for me to have healthy looking hair I had to stop one or the other, I chose to stop coloring my hair.

well i straighten my hair alot also but what i do is i have a heat protection spray...the one i use is from sallys beauty. I also use pantene pro-v deep fortifying treatment which all you do is keep it in your hair for 3 minutes and wash it out. Also if its frizzy use tresemme no frizz shine spray. dont put to much of the heat protection spray and frizz control stuff because it can make your hair look greasy.

nope. it will always damage your hair. the most you can do is reduce the damage. dont listen to these other girls who says it doesnt just because THEY dont see any damage in their own hair because it probably is anyway. the most you can do is just find a very good product that is for drying hair. or you can use a natural remedy like eggs or olive/almond/coconut/jojoba oil.

THEY DO WORK!

no, in certainty henna is the main organic and oldest way of demise hair. Its all organic and it smells stable too. It wont be too harsh and could merely supply sufficient coloration to make the hair magnificent.
