I am creating a Powerpoint presentation and burning it on a CD for my customers to watch. If they don't have Powerpoint and don't know to download Powerpoint Viewer, how can they view the presentation? Can I download the viewer on the CD for them to then download so they can view the presentation?

Microsoft.com has free PP viewer you can download and install on the PC. (You can include it on the CD if you are giving it to several people.)

The other alternative is to reopen the file in your Power Point program and save it as a Power Point Slideshow. Use the "File type" pull down list under where you type the file name when saving.

Once saved that way, it will run automatically without having to have PP, the viewer, or anything installed on the other computer(s).

That's what I would do, just burn the viewer onto the CD along with the presentation and include a ReadMe file or something that instructs the user to install the viewer if they don't have PowerPoint.

Go onto your powerpoint and click on file and package to cd. It will put a powerpoint viewer on the cd along with your powerpoint itself
