what do i type in the run box for system restore?

try rstrui.exe (works in windows Vista)

%systemroot%\system32\restore\ rstrui.exe

(Windows XP)

You do not put anything in the "Run" box to do a system restore. Here is all you need to do.

Start>all programs>accessories>system tools>System Restore. Now pick a date in bold where you know your system was running good. You will lose any programs you added after the date you select.
