Mix lemon juice and water or vineger in a bottle and spray the spots after you clean then the citric acid in the lemon juice is suppose to break down the enzymes. Also vineger does the same thing but vigeger smells funny to me i use the lemon juice and water seems to work great for the smells if they smell where they have peed they want to keep peeing there? try the puppy pads they will pee on the pad. it doesnt eliminate the problem but many of them are scented to make the dog pee in that spot sometimes all you can do it watch the dog and make sure you catch it befor it has to unrinate.

What has worked for me is if my dogs pee on the carpet i dry as much as i can with a clean dry towel,(wetting the area with water makes the smell soak in to the carpet padding and floor boards)then i dump baking soda on the spot, the baking soda will get damp(or soaked i have a mastiff breed)and turn yellow add more to the top and keep doing so untill it no longer gets damp and yellow, let it dry completelt then vaccuum. There will be a spot left over with a little caked up baking soda wash with warm soapy water.THe baking soda pulls the wet and the smell out of the carpet. It takes the odor out rather than covering it up like fabreeze or carpet fresh.I also use arm and hammer carpet fresh that takes the dog smell out of the house in general.Baking soda obsorbs odor so this is a good carpet fresh cleaner, leave it on 15 minutes, vaccuum the air smells good and so will your carpet. But for the doggy accidents use plain baking soda.It takes out the odor and disinfects the area the dog peed on.Also to regularly disinfect ur carpets put like a 1/4 cup of bleach into a spray bottle with warm water and spray onto carpet not directly but from while standing/walking.Bleach kills germs brought in on the puppys' feet so it's a good idea if you have kids to do this on a regular basis. It shouldn't ruin your carpet,i do it on blue, and dark green carpeting regularly.I hope this helps.

definitely anything with oxy in it. or try woolite that is amazing stuff. :) if your puppy refuses to go outside, i recommend pee pee pads, they have a scent dogs can smell and they go on those, in one spot. if that doesnt work, take your dog to the vet it might have a urinary problem, and cant hold it. otherwise make sure you have time for your dog and take it outside when you can. :) good luck
