I hate to say this jujuberry but yeah I think that maybe you are a rebound. I mean if he has been with this girl for 4 or 5 years and he really cared for her and bonded with her, there is no way that he is emotionally able to jump into a real relationship in 3 wks. But who knows, his using you to get over her just might lead to something serious in the long run but right now he can't be serious about a real relationship. Besides if you think about it, if he did his girlfriend of 4 years like that what do you think his actions just might be when he is over her, You probably will be kicked to the curb because he won't need your companionship anymore. It seems to me that he doesn't adapt strong feelings for a female when he is dating them. To him a girlfriend is just someway of him saying I have someone.

Speaking from personal experience...I was in a relationship with a guy for quite awhile and when we broke up, I had an attraction to another guy not to long afterwards..it didn't last, I jumped into something way to fast because, I was scared of being alone and not really ready to be with someone else long term at the moment. So yes you probably would just be a rebound girl..My suggestion don't hook up with him right away or you'll probably just get hurt.

yes you are the rebound but its no reason to walk away...besides for your own health you don't want to be with a guy fresh off a long term relationship...it can only lead to trouble for both of you....have fun take it easy and see what happends down the road

u could be, make sure that he doesnt try to make out wit u or go further cause then u r the rebound girl. what u should do is wat to do anything wit him untill u go out then wait like 2-3 weeks untill u make out, that way, u can find out if u r the rebound girl.

Maybe but you should give him a chance if you like him maybe he has liked you for a long time and just finally got rid of his chick cuz he decided he would rather try to be with you.

not necessarily, but yeah I would be careful. 4 years is a long time, and I doubt he'd be ready for another relationship so fast. However, you couldn't deny that he's attracted to you.

Not necessarily. If she broke up with him, yes. If he broke up with her then he is not rebounding.
