don't let your family get to you you two do what you think is best I let my family stop me and I regret it too this day family is great but your happiness is more important

Is your family just being mean, nasty, abusive, and against the marriage because they don't like you or do they have reasons? Are those reasons sound and logical? If they are wrong, show them how they are wrong. That is, if they think he doesn't respect you show them how he DOES respect and honor you. If they think he cheats on you, prove to them that he doesn't (or, that it doesn't matter to you).
BTW, if your answer to their reasons is, "But I LOVE him!!!" you need to see a counselor before getting on this six miles of bad road ahead of you.

Well...it's not really up to them,get married and you'll see in the future they will be happy for you.Just talk to your family,tell them you love him and want to get married and it will make you happy knowing they approve.Good Luck!
