Should I let my boyfriend of only 4 months stay with me for only a few weeks until he gets his own place??? He is moving here from out of state for this new job and I'm not ready to be around him like that.

Just remember if he moves in for a few weeks he's less likely to get his own place as soon. Are you ready for this possibility?

Sweetie you said it all yourself in that last sentence. Your not ready for a live in relationship. Tell him no he may not stay with you because your honestly not ready for that yet. If you allow him to move in, after only 4 months...(I would never do that until I knew them better!) your asking for trouble getting him out. If he truly loves you, he will respect your wishes...

If you are ready for it, then don't let him stay with you. He should easily be able to find a short-term lease on a one-bedroom or studio apartment to get him through the move. His work may also provide relocation assistance.

depends on your relationship.. ..i guess if he was a frnd n not ur bf.. u might let him stay.. but bcoz he is ur bf.. theres this thng tht he wud b arround u all the time.. its kinda like.. getting bugged every second... so.. u knw him staying w/u will definetly affect u both in some way, although he might feel grt abut u doing him this favor.. but if u dont want any of this extra discomfort.. thn help him find a place to stay!.. may at some frnd's house??

If you're uncomfortable with allowing him to stay with you, then the answer is definitely no. Four months is not enough time to truly get to know someone and your initial reaction is usually the best. Besides, if his job is relocating him it's their responsibility to see that he is properly housed.

Do everything you can to help him find a place. Be honest with him, you're not ready to have a roommate.... If he's a guy you want to spend your future with, he can find his own home!

Can his new employer find a temporary place for him to stay until he finds a permanent place? Then you can have him for dinner and send him home

No. You just said you're not ready for that step in your relationship. There will be problems.
