I love the Lord however I stuggle with the things listed above,
I constantly surrender these feelings to God but I still wrestle with them from time to time. How does one overcome jealously envy and coveting what others have and how can I be happy and joyful for someone who maybe gets the things that I wanted ?

Yes I have and I prayed my way through it. I wanted to be married -- badly. I was in love. We dated for 10 years before he decided to marry some other girl he was sleeping around with. Then I decided I was better off not being married but that was bitterness and not satisfactory. Eventually I gave it to God and prayed continuously that I would only marry that one person that God wanted me to marry. Until then I would be content being single. I remember the day I began that path. 4 months later I was married.

Envy, jealousy and coveting are all basic human emotions that are actually something you need. They're healthy (to some extent). That’s how society and economy works.

Too much coveting what you can't have is only torture.

Go out and work for the things you covet and then you wont have to covet them anymore.

Chippie has a good point

It would help if you started looking for ALL the ways God is blessing you and your family.

You can surrender these feelings to God but it would be more helpful if you worked on taking EVERY THOUGHT captive.

SO when you see something that you know will make you jealous --- You Instantly turn to God.
The moment it meets your eyes you turn to Him -- you can say something as simple as "Hey God, how are you?" or you may pray for the person you are looking at. ??? Anything you want.

Continue to stay in the word and remember that you will get stronger every day.

Probably every human being ever born has struggled with these emotions from time to time in their life.

Just keep giving it to God, Hun. You're doing what you need to do!

Meditate on what Paul says here, "Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have LEARNED, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content". Philippians 4:11
It's something we learn as we grow in the Lord.

Focus on working what you want. Not wishing for what others have. Stop thinking a non existent entity can take away your feelings.

Exodus 34:14
Do not worship any other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.
