I have been on the pill for years now and will be getting married in May. Once we are back from our honeymoon, I plan on going off the pill and we'll start trying to conceive. A while ago my gyno. said I shoudl start taking pre-natal vitamins a few months before we start tring to have a baby. My question is, can I stay on the pill and take pre-natal vitamins at the same time?

Sure... they're just vitamins with a little extra for expectant moms.

there is nothing wrong with using a pre-natel vitamin before conception. actually if you talk to your dr. most of them will recommend it. i kept taking the pre-natel vitamin even after my 4th was born, to get the extra vitamins you lose after delivery

Yes, you can my doctor told me the same thing, I did it. My doctor says there is nothing wrong with taking them all the time they are good for you anytime not just while you are pregnant.

yes theirs no harm what so ever.....the sooner you start taking them, the sooner you conceive...good luck.. and congrats on your wedding & soon to be baby!!!!!!!!!!
