Tell him what you want, when he is affectionate, tell him you like that and want it more. I know if I think I am affectionate already I don't have a problem, so let him know to do a better job.

You be affectionate to him... Love is reciprocative... You get what you give....
You cant force him into being affectionate to you... for him it should come from inside...
I am sure with time he will be more affectionate to you....

Tell him. Waiting for it to happen or hinting or just hoping will never result in any changes. You need to sit him down and define your needs. Be kind. Compliment him for what he does right. Tell him how you feel. Tell him what you expect from him. If he is unable or unwilling to accommodate you, then he is not the one. Move on!
