I dont have insurance and cant go to the doctor, is there any over the counter antibiotic eye ointment. Went to the pharmacist but they were idiots

no there isn't. Go to the emergency room and sign the paper for indigent if you don't have money. The sad thing is, the anti biotic is only about ten dollars. Amoxillin

If you live in the United States yes there is an OTC that you can purchase. Its called Similasan Healthy Relief Pink Eye Relief Eye Drops and is about 10 dollars its even in a pink box with an eye on it. Furthermore alot if not MOST cases of "pink eye" are viral therefore an antibiotic will not work as antibiotics are to be used ONLY for bacterial.

It depends what kind of pink eye you have. There are OTCs for allergic pink eye, but not bacterial. Unless you've been to a MD, and it has been ruled non-bacterial or non-chylamidial, a pharmacist may not want to recommend b/c of liability issues.
