I was thinking of getting a 26" HD LCD TV and i came across dell. All the other tv's i was looking at (sony, sharp samsung lg) were good but the best price for a 26" was 999.99 CAD and dell is selling it's 32" for 999.99 CAD and I'm not gonna buy it right now but i was wondering if dell is a good company to buy a TV from.

You need to shop around more. There are top brands like Sony, Panasonic, Samsung that have 32" HD-LCD's for about the same price as that 32" Dell.

Plasma is the best but at nearly three times the price it's not worth it unless your building a high tech home theater system. For normal TV veiwing a LCD will be more than satisfactory. LCD's, like plasmas, are high-def televisions. So they are compatible with your favorite shows that are broadcast in high-def. Hope this helped. Have a good day.
