Learn about the code of bushido, the ancient code of chivalry and behaviour for warriors. Reading the novel 'Shogun' by James Clavell is a good intro. Its about a ship's pilot who is shipwrecked in Japan, learns their language and becomes a samurai.

Latest technology - mega electronics shops with gizmos we haven't seen yet.

Street celebrations and festivals.

Thermal baths in mountain villages.

Baseball.
