Cause of death is open public record go to the register of deeds and get the death certificate copy it will list the cause of death if it is undetermined or accidental you can ask a judge to have it realsed to you based on medical questions for your own heath resons since she was so young ..if you go to them with no proof your step father had anything to do with it it will most likely get you no where but becuase you need to know if there is a family history of illness you could very well get the report with no problem

You are her blood and you have a definite right to know the whole truth. If you can, get a lawyer. If you are a minor try to seek help from an authority figure. You could even try the police.
I hope you find what you are looking for.

Most coroners have to abide the law and if they discover foul play then they have to report it to the law. If you really want to know for sure to ease your pain, hire a lawyer to obtain the information. Also, are you a minor? Some lawyers will not take on a case when its a minor requesting it. I am sorry for your loss.

you could get a copy of the death certifcate and see what it shows as the cause of death. you would be able to get a copy of that. if you really feel strong about this, you could talk to a detective and see what they can find out. i wish you luck, i am sorry for the loss of your mother. may god bless you and keep you safe.

You are her DAUGHTER and there should be no impediment in getting your hands on the coroners report. If necessary you can get a court order to release that report.
