In 2nd Peter in the Bible it talks about being effective and productive for Christ? What makes a person be this way?
How can I be more like this? How can Christians make thier light shine and be more of an effective witness?

THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION IS TO ALLOW GOD'S HOLY SPRIT TO FREELY DO GOD'S WORK EACH AND EVERY DAY IN THE WAY YOU ARE PROMPTED BY THE SPIRIT. THERE IS NOT SET OF RIGID RULES YOU MUST OBEY TO PLEASE GOD, BUT MUST FOLLOW WHERE HIS SPIRIT LEADS YOU. AND HIS SPIRIT CAN AND WILL ONLY LEAD YOU IN A WAY WHICH IS TRUE TO HIS WORD.(eg. never contrary to His will.)

Having a relationship with God (Reading, studying the bible, praying, being a doer of the word of God, practice doing what the bible teaches) It's not a overnight process, it will take time. HE is a rewarder of those that diligently seeks Him. Seek Him with an open heart, willing to allow His Word to change you. Learn to trust in Him and not in yourself. Also, fellowship(hang out) with other Christians that Love the Lord just as much as you and that are more mature in their walk with Christ. That will encourage you to seek God more.

Well, the LORD said to Adam and Eve "Go forth and multiply". So, one must fulfil this most HOLY of commandments.
People like nuns, monks and Catholic priests are wilfully disobeying the LORD, so do not follow their example.
Furthermore, do not follow the example of the LOST SHEEP also known as DIVIDERS who produce only one offspring, or the SEEDS THAT FELL BY THE WAYSIDE who only produce two offpring and are known as the EQUALLERS.
Yea, thou must MULTIPLY and produce THREE OR MORE offspring, and the only way to do this is by taking MULTIPLE WIVES, for in biblical times, a woman would usually die during childbirth after one child.

I know you're looking for some great religious answer but ....
Maybe volunteer to help someone who needs help... or just do something kind for someone you don't know every single day.
If you see a person who needs help with carrying something, stop your car and take 4 minutes to help them.
If you see a homeless person, give them at least 5 bucks, if you have it.
If you see a sign asking for volunteers, make some time to help out.

Careful attention to God's word, prayer, and fellowship with His people. Thru these, one will find ways to serve God. Then, merely be a willing vessel of the Holy Spirit.
