we've been dating for a year come February, heis been away for 8 mths, visiting me for the christmas will be going away soon. we love each other we fit perfectly, we talk about children and having a family. he's 31 come march i'm 26 come october.

Long distance relationships hardly ever work out. Absence does not make the heart grow fonder. It's more like out of sight, out of mind.

Long distance relationships are extremely difficult to maintain for this simple reason. Although one may not have the inclination to cheat, stuff happens, you meet nice people and one thing leads to another. And sometimes people literally throw themselves in your face (both men and women), its hard to resist your homones after a few months. Short term migration yes, long term Big No.

First of all are you two apart? I mean is he in the US and you in Jamaca? Anyway it goes, if you two are apart I am not going to say continuing a relationship won't be impossible but you have to think of the fact of honesty. Physically I think it is hard to attempt a relationship that way but there are lots of factors to look into. I think that it would be best if you two decided to date other people and see where your feelings go from there.
