You mention strong legs....why not take up jogging or cycling? You can also swim which is a more enjoyable cardio exercise.
The key to losing fat is cardio exercise. That's any exercise that will increase and maintain your heart rate over a period of 20 minutes or more. You should do cardio exercise for a minimum of 20 minutes each day, maybe 30 if you are ambitious.
You also want to help your metabolism remain steady. So don't skip breakfast and lunch and eat a huge dinner. That's awful for metabolism. Your metabolism slows down because it thinks you are starving to death. Then you eat your huge dinner and pack on the calories because your metabolism is sluggish. It's best to eat six small meals a day if you can. But at least eat three.
There are fat burner supplements out there, but you are very young. Check with a doctor first before trying them. It may not be good for you. Nonetheless, they say green tea can really give your metabolism a jump start. If you can't use supplements, drinking it should be fine. But again, I strongly recommend that you talk to your doctor first before doing any weight loss program. Your age can make some methods, which may be safe for adults, very dangerous for you.

Dieting *should* be out of the question. *Eating right* should not be. Try and eat balanced meals of reasonable size, no matter who cooks. Maybe offer to cook a good meal periodically? As far as exercise, my first suggestion is to get out and walk, as much as possible. If you ride the bus to school, maybe see if there's a stop a few blocks farther than your normal one, and walk to it instead. Or get off there instead (if you can). Walking is easy, doesn't require special equipment, and is a good way to start exercising without it feeling like actual exercise.
There is no "spot reducing" exercise - but you will see progress in the stomach area if you exercise, along with other areas.
As far as vitamins, find a good-quality multi-vitamin. That, and a healthy balanced diet, should go a long way toward your goals.
Good luck!

If you want to lose weight the best thing you can do is exercise. If you eat less (eat slower to ensure you don't overeat and cut out desserts) and get an hour of cardio exercise everyday, you'll start dropping pounds!

I would advice you to take up any kind of sport! Try everything at least once or twice, and then decide which you like best. And don't eat more because you are doing the sport - just enjoy and see how your body gets toned and the weight slip off!

Try limiting portion size and sweets, which can be hard w grandparents I know, and walk as much as possible. Take a good multivitamin also. Just make sure you work at losing slowly , if you lose it too fast you will likely put it back on....and for that tummy, crunches are the best...good luck
