I walked down the aisle to "Canon in D"....very elegant I think. I didn't want the traditional wedding march myself.
A friend of mine walked down the aisle to "At Last" unique, and I didn't think it would be nice, but it was pretty neat!
Ode to Joy is another one I have heard of.
Listen to canon in D.....it's a great song to walk down the aisle to!
I hope you have a wonderful day!!

I walked down to a slightly different kind of song but it was BEAUTIFUL. "Wonderful Mericiful Savior" by Selah. It is about 4 minutes long so my bridesmaids and I used the same song. I came in during the part where it goes acapella for moment. I got a lot of good reviews.
We are Christians so that might make a difference in what we choose.

Well, I wasn't going for the traditional wedding march in my wedding, I wanted something happy and not so scary and picked Joyful, Joyful we Adore Thee, also called Ode to Joy. It's very lovely to have instrumental on it. Harp or violin is amazing with it.

Most people walk down the aisle to the Bridal march ("Here dome the bride...). My maids are walking down to an instrumental Canon in D.

The instrumental verision of "Cold November Rain" by Guns 'N Roses. Make sure it's without the lyrics.
Good luck!

Alicia....this is YOUR big day. You can have anything you want, so don't just pick a song that follows tradition. Pick something that means something to you.......I had a Frank Sinatra song, it meant a lot to me and my father and he was so chuffed. Good luck
