I just had a baby on the 28th of dec. I did have her natural. The doc said 7-10 days and stitches will disolve..so how long until i can get in a good work out..starting on my abs and legs and what not.

After 40 days.that is usually the quarantine period for your abdominal muscles to be used

It depends on whether you are breast-feeding or not. If not, you can start working out as soon as it feels comfortable for you. If you are breast-feeding, it is recommended that you avoid any intense regular work-outs. Your body is working hard to produce milk, which helps a lot of women get back to their pre-pregnancy weight. It is not a good idea to begin a weight-loss program while nursing. Your body also releases chemicals when you exercise hard and these chemicals are released into the breastmilk. Endorphins that may be good for you are not for the baby.

i actual did not get toddler fever until eventually my oldest became about 2.5. on the time we weren't particular if we were actual waiting for yet another baby, so we waited somewhat. correct previously my little woman grew to develop into 3 we wanting to undertake. :) we've now followed Grace and nicely...my toddler fever's lengthy gone. ;)

Some say after you're healed you can start excersing. I waited til after the stitches were gone no problem after that. Just listento your doctor and wait til after the stitches are gone..

I wouldn't start any strenuous exercise until after your six week check-up because you can cause yourself to have heavy bleeding and lead to other complications. Try a light workout like taking walks and Kegel Exercise.
