You should just let her follow you because you do not leave a child alone. NEVER! Why does it matter if she follows you around or doesn't follow you around. You brought this child in this world and she is only 18 months old. You both are girls so what is the problem. She might love you a lot that might be why she follows you all the time. Ever think of that!

Children are very curious, if she is not potty trained this may be the golden opportunity to teach her. Let her know this why you use the bathroom and have a small potty chair in there for her as well. Once she understands the concept of why you are going in there, she may not follow you in there any more. If she says; potty mama have her go in there and leave the room, let her have her privacy, then as she is taught this she will give you your privacy.
Good Luck.

get her a potty, so that when it's time for her to start trainign she'll have it down. She's your daughter, so it's not like it's weird for her to wana follow you. I have a 21 month old who does the same thing. I have her a potty and when I have to go she comes in and trying to pull her pants down to use hers. So let her see you do that, you'll be glad you did. I don't mena let her see your private area and all of that but the learning side of it. The big POTTY TRAINING HAS BEGUN

it's just a baby
maybe she should follow you into the bathroom
I do understand where you are coming off
If you were on your period I highly doubt you would like her in there with you
I think maybe you should have her wait outside for a second
babies are adventurous and you never know what they will put in their month during the three minutes you are gone in the bathroom

There's nothing wrong in letting your baby follow you to the bathroom,if you don't want her to look at you, just distract her with something else, babies gets distracted very easily. My kids used to come in while we were getting a shower and everything was perfectly natural.
