I think none of them are illegal. I see cats roaming around all the time and they are not breaking the law, they are not on their owners property and they are animals. I know C is illegal in some country's but not here, because animals are allowed to get botex and certain dogs like Australian shepherds get their tails docked (cut off) for no apparent reason. Also some dogs get their ears cropped(might be spelt wrong sry) and both these things are cruel and completely un necessary. Also There is no law saying you have to love your animal and give it human contact although there should be, as long as an animal has food water and shelter then there is nothing wrong, the only way A would be illegal was if no human contact meant no food, water or shelter then it is animal abuse.
I could be wrong though just guessing=)

D.

In America, as long as you provide food, water, shelter, and vet care, then you are within the law.

Also, performing unnecessary surgery would imply that cropping the ears and docking the tails would be illegal. Which it isn't, nor should it be.

all three, 1-avoiding human contact could mean raising your dog to be mean, unsocial and was raised for this purpose if it can be proved. 2- animal cruility buddy, pure and simple up to 5 years... 3-if this dog was to injury another person or animal even in your front yard and if its not on a lease or unsupervised you get the vet, hospitlal and court cost. all of these sound as if you are raising a dog for eather fighting or protection. but there are other ways and safer to do this. and if you put a sign up on your house or fence that says BEWARE OF DOG and you ever end up in court because of your dog attacking someone. you are automaticly guilty because you knew your dog was vicious your sign said so....sorry for assumeing the animal was a dog, but just in case this is what you are revfering to and really it would make a difference if you stated what type of animal.

In most places, D. Most places have a leash law so it would be against the law to let your dog wander untethered. Of course, AC doesn't bother enforcing leash laws, people do it all the time anyway.

A pet peeve of mine, I HATE it when people let their dogs roam loose.
