Oh my gosh! This is so annoying! At my office, my phone cord keeps getting tangled up! How can I prevent this? Thanks for any suggestions!

Hello there, you should try to tie up the extra amount of phone cord.I tried it and it works.

Bye Bye.

They do have phone cord "de-tanglers" but, frankly they all suck because they cause static on your line and drive your telephone repairman nuts because people who use these constantly call in repairs that are not needed (sorry, had to vent). Anyway, this is caused by your unaware twisting of the receiver in your hand while using the phone. You either switch ears a lot or when you pickup/hangup the phone you are turning the receiver in your hand subconciously. I know this sounds crazy but I've seen it a thousand times over the past 15 years. I guess I'm not giving you a cure but, I am nailing the cause!

There are some detangling devices that you can put on your phone handset that will keep this from happenning. Check the phone section at walmart.
