Can anyone recommend a good alarm clock (preferable not made in China). I late for works these becuase of the crappy brand new alarm clock. I lose confidence in all Made in China products.

This is one very similar to the one I have and it works great. The best feature is you can set the Cd player as the alarm and wake up to your favorite song or whatever song you might want to hear that morning. I can't say whether or not it's made in China, but most likely. Another cool feature is that you can set two alarm times, so even if you hit snooze or turn off the first one, it's gonna go off again when you need it too.

If you can check your yellow pages and find a store called Sharper Images, they tend to have really neat items, including alarm clocks with a variety of sounds to choose from. They also have a website, but it's not quite the same as examining and listening to the items first hand. www.sharperimage.com/

I have a GE it works great blue numbers and the radio sounds good to 2 alarms it only cost $30.00 at sears

your mind just keep telling youself you have to wakeup at a certain time it works for me now i dont even think about it i just wake when im posed2 , but probally for you if you want a loud one the wind up kind with little ringers on them.my daughter used to have one that sonded like aphone that worked for her.

I use my cellular phone...I can set multiple alarms on there and it even has a snooze button!
