I have a projection HDTV with only one DVI input alrealdy occupied by an HD DVR. I would like to hook up an HD DVD but I'm afraid that I will lose quality if I use the other inputs. Is it possible to "multiplex" the DVI input? Do you have any other ideas? I';m not ready to replace my TV just yet.

Don't be paranoid about connections. For years, you have been watching videos via composite and that probably never bothered you :-)

Component video is pretty good indeed. It has been in use by video professionals for many years. So connect your HD-DVR via component and you should be OK!
