I dont think it means that they like you especially but it definately says that they have a certain comfort zone with you....there is potential there but you can't go on 2 words in a text message to determine how someone feels

It could. The best way to know if a girl fancies you is to speak to her face to face. It is much easier to see her facial expression as she says 'hey you' than to guess at their intentions by using such language!

Could be, probably not. That's just girl's way of saying hello. It's too boring just saying hi, or hello. "hey you" kind of gives the message some character.
