Folks, the actual and factual information about prayer and religious expression in American public schools is not that difficult to find. And the TRUTH is that there is a great deal of freedom for religious expression in public schools. Do you have the integrity to read the truth about it and then disabuse your misinformed freinds and family and acquaintences about it?

Thanks for the pointer, RV. That was an excellent read. The policies seem perfectly logical and fair to me. Makes me proud to see that at least some parts of my government aren't confused about how religious freedom can be protected without crossing the line and telling kids what to believe and what not to believe.

All the no prayer in school law says is that the teachers and staff cannot force someone to pray. Separation of church and state says that the government cannot mandate everyone to go to one church supported by the government. Roe v. Wade states she had the right to a legal aportion because she was indangered by the pregnancy. YES know the truth about the laws that are actually on the books. Not what someone tells you they mean.

I love when people scream that their kids can't pray in school. I always wonder how many of them are praying at breakfast, praying when they get home and then praying when they go to bed. All that time in the whole day and they are upset that there is no public led prayer for those 7 hours.

I love how these people who are begging for "religious freedom" would go into an absolute panic if the views of non-Christian religions were being expressed. Did you know that "religious freedom" includes them too?

There is a difference between religions in school prayer.most often times the people complaining are Christian parents. Of course, that is mostly because it is the anti-Christian crowd that brings up issues and lawsuits against school prayer. I mean, how often have you seen a lawsuit against a private school for allowing a muslim kid to lead a group of kids in their prayers? or for allowing the kids to turn towards mecca, and bow at a certain time of day?

What's with all the thumb's down to people who are agreeing with this ruling? I guess it just means that the people screaming their kids can't pray in school must want TEACHERS to lead prayers. If you're raising your child the correct way, shouldn't they be capable of praying on their own? I can't see what's wrong with saying that students are absolutely allowed to pray on their own if they so choose but that teachers and school leaders should not be allotting time for or leading school prayer. Makes sense to me!

sometimes the truth hurts us in someway , somehow and not all the persons want to know it , but I guess the person has to know even it's harmful because it puts you on the right side it makes you take decisions and attitudes based on true informations , it wouldn't make you go back to change previous steps and in general it briths your street .

It appears that you are really not asking a question but making a statement.
