what do people think about redheads? why do people always think???

that red heads are mean just cause there hair color? and why do ppl think the only reason you dont see redheads is because no one wants to sleep with them? i am a red head out of 6 kids im the only one with red hair. i have 3 kids lol none of them have red hair. they all have brown hair. i get my red hair from my grandmother on my dads side. and lol im a pretty sensitive person but ppl think i would have a bad temper cause my hair color.

yes I agree Reheads get a bad rap.I am a redhead and everyone has always said don't make her mad.I love the color of my hair.I have 3 kids and the only one who got it was my oldest son.We got it from My Dad.My Mom has black hair.

That is a good question. I've heard some people say the same things. I figured if there was any truth to it, that it would be from all the teasing red-headed kids have to go through while growing up. I don't have red hair (unless you count facial hair, which then I have every color... I think I'm a mutt, but anyway), but I know how much teasing can hurt and shape your outlook on life.

I don't think nobody wants to sleep with a redhead. I mean, guys don't care if you have green hair half the time. That is not true, about the sleeping thing.

My ex was italian and his mother HATED redheads, but she didn't even think that he wouldn't sleep with a red-haired girl.

I guess it's just the color... it's a wild color. Like... red-haired kitty cats tend to be more wild and people in studies get angry when they see red.... maybe it's just derived from some sort of myth.

On the other hand, my mother is red-haired and she is a true nut so you could be the exception. lol :)

I don't know what you are talking about. I have never had a problem with guys not being interested in me because I have red hair. In fact, it is the exact opposite. Even though I am not very pretty, good looking guys hit on me all the time because they love the red hair, and the fact that I am a natural red-head.

I think that it might just be because you have an ill temper...

I have red hair and no one has ever assumed this of me ahead of time unless I displayed anger to them first... Then they say it. Maybe you're just on the defensive and it shows on your face or in your tone?

Red heads are always treated differently, because they are so strikingly different.

People are just jealous! That would be why red hair dye outsells every other color!

That's silly and a bit superstitious. There are lots of sex symbols who were/are redheads: Julianne Moore, Nicole Kidman, Laura Prepon (That 70's Show), Lindsay Lohan, Ann-Margaret, Tina Louise (Ginger from Giligan's Island), Rita Hayworth, Debra Messing (Will and Grace). Interestingly Rita Hayworth and Debra Messing are not natural redheads.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with redheads. Some of us have bad tempers, and some are even tempered. The only difference between redheads and the rest of the world, is the color of our hair.

But, of course I do have a rotten and nasty temper. jk

Yeah, hair color has nothing to do with the temper dont listen to that non sense. I find some red heads to be hot. :) Maybe their jealous? People are mean to things that they are jealous of, maybe as a reaction to control the urge, because they KNOW they cant have it :-).

I think that red headed people being mean is just an urban myth and they are no more likely to be mean than anyone else . I also think they are just as sexy and lovable as any other it's just that they are fewer in number and people just don't see all the beautiful ones around . Try not to be bothered by it , it's just a lot of nonsense.

I've never thought of redheads of having bad tempers. I actually find them very attractive, and most redheads I have met have been a lot fun to be around.
