Is Believer Messenger like Yahoo Messenger? I'd like to shoot the latter sometimes.

I shot the sheriff. But I did not shoot the Deputy.

Shooting the messenger only accomplishes the creation of martyrs. Respectable non-believers don't do that.... it's counter-productive. Instead, we show the believers (or at least the arrogant ones) to be what they are: charlatains and fraudsters, or believers in what cannot be shown true. This is best done with a repetition of their words at opportune times and settings.

Let's look at that sentence again, shall we?

"Nonbelievers"...do you think you can stop "the truth" by shooting the messenger?

Clear? No? You assume too much.

Truth goes way beyond the messenger. It will be around long after the messengers have gone.

Assuming that it is the 'truth', you'd have to shoot a LOT of messengers. It would stop for awhile but I think eventually, if it were actually the truth, it would resurface somehow.

Nope, if the "messenger" is so blind that they can't really see the real truth, then obviously it's a lost cause. The real truth comes to those who are capable of perceiving it and understand it.

Your arrogant little challenge here illustrates you've got a hearty self-concept that is unswayable due to causes and conditions beyond anybody's control. Here's to hoping you wake up.

Who are these "nonbelievers" to whom you refer, and what is this message? You are being very vague. Is there some specific religion to which you are referring. There are thousands of religions in the world, and every adherent of each of them is a "nonbeliever" in the others, no?

No. But those Xian Fundies keep trying to shoot us Atheists and stop us from spreading that truth anyway. Silly fools.

How presumptive that you feel anyone that BELIEVES differently than you is a NONBELIEVER.

Many people believe, they just do not believe what you believe.

One persons truth is another persons lie.

If you want to ask a real question, stop, think (I know that is asking alot) and then write out a detailed question.

The messenger? Its the message! We don't shoot the messenger? we don't care if the messenger is delusional! We just want you to pretend alone...by yourself...not let your religion stop scientific progression. Which it has over and over again.
