I think it was great that you were honest and upfront with him and didn't lead him on. I know it probably hurt him but you have to look out for #1 because no one else will. He will eventually get over you and no you are not a hypocrite. You wanted to see if it would work and it didn't so you need to go on. Life is hard enough without having your significant other bringing you down. Good luck you will find Mr. Right out there somewhere in this wonderful world. You seem to have a good head on your shoulders. I found my Mr. Right when I was 17 and I was just lucky. But I do believe in destiny and yes I am a romantic too. Have fun in your life and find someone you can laugh with, play with and be serious with. Good Luck!!

You have done the right thing. When you have anything, whether it makes you happy or sad, you will miss it when it is gone. So therfore in when a relationship is lost you will more times than not miss the other person.
In your case, if you were not happy with the other person it was best to get out of the relationship and move on. There is no point being with someone if they make you unhappy.

no being happy seems like a perfectly good reason to reason to break up with somebody. Dont mistake the feelings of guilt your feeling right now with feeling for him. Let him go. He'll find someone else and so will you and ye will both be happy. Dont worry about it anymore

One of the reasons to be with people (friends, family, boyfriends..) is because we like them and feel good when we're around them. I think you did the right thing. Your regret is normal but pretty soon you'll be over it. Why should we be stuck in an unhappy relationship when there is soo much better? It's not good for either of you. Hope I helped. xOXo

Don't worry about it. If you were truly unhappy then it was best. I have broke up with the love of my life for a few reasons. That relationship, altho the most loving I have ever had. Made me jealous and argumentative. so it was necessary to spread the wings.

It would be unfair to the guy to stay in a relationship where you're not happy. You'd eventually start taking it out on him, and at least this way, that's been avoided. You did the right thing.

No you totally did the wrong thing--we all believe you should stay in a relationship where you are unhappy. That was a stupid question and if you are serious in asking it then you have a long life of being used ahead of you.

If you aren't happy and you don't feel like you should be with that person, then you did the right thing. It is far worse to stay with someone and let them think everything is ok when its not.

yes. it was. if you are not happy in a relationship then it is probably best to end it. i thinnk that that was a good reason, and of course you would feel guilty about it now, but if he asks you out again, make sure youre happy.
