Move to another state....I mean, lets be realistic about this, there is no way to get rid of a rumor. Either you ignore it or you let those idiots who spread the rumor get the best of you and you end up leaving the state and having a life long relationship with a therapist. Whatever the rumor is, it will go away with time, just be the bigger person and ignore it.

u cant really get rid of rumors. people usally start rumors becusae they have nothing else to talk about. if the rumors are about u and ur sick of everybody else talking about it then simply start another, really bad rumor, about something else. although that would make u just as made that started the rumor that u wanted to get rid of in the first place, it is an alternative. BUT u shouldnt really care what other people think...let them talk about what they want if it its u then u then just give them something to talk about...so be it. good luck though

Maybe just say the truth and try tellin every1 that asks u about it the REAL truth.

People will always gossip.
Could you make fun of them? Laugh about them with people. Could be hard, but could also show people how silly you think the rumours are.
