On a 03 Explorer, the dealer can access it electronically, or the module is located in the right quarter panel behind the trim, just behind the second row seats. You have to remove the second row seat belt anchor at the top, and the panels i think will pop out far enough to see it, if you have a 3rd row seat, you might have to take it loose. It is called the vehicle security module.
If this is a 4 dorr model, other models are in other places...

Open the back hatch, look to your left..there should be a little panel there..remove the panel, get a flashlight and look inside. you should see a sticker there with numbers on it..thats the security code for your vehicle.
remember if you add a "3" to the end of it, it will open all the doors, not just the drivers.

The code can be read by a dealer using a computer scanner, or you can remove the interior panel from the drivers door, and the code will be on the control box.

You can not find them. Ford used to put them in the cars and trucks but that made it to easy for the thieves. Now you need to follow the chart in the owners manual to set them . If someones already set them there is and chart for that too. If you don't have he owners manual go to the dealer and they will help you.Hope I helper good luck
