The bible is a muddled mass of confusion. It doesn't hang together as a unified body of work because it's really a collection of independent or loosly related works. It takes an extraordinary degree of mental gymnastics to pretend that it doesn't contradict itself. Everybody spins it their own way.
Jews don't accept the New Testament. Mormons add their Book of Mormon. The Catholic bible is a little different than the Protestant bible. Islam has the Quran. Buddhists have their own scriptures and so on.

The human race has the capacity to THINK. Many men have pondered the universe, life and the outcome of it during their lifetimes. Their inspirational writings have fostered numerous followings or religions. Some are considered prophets, others are referred to by the titles given to such persons in their particular society.

first of all, let's correct your question. There isn't just one bible; from its birth, there have been a lot of different bibles written by different saints; all of them were interpreted differently. why are there different religious? there are some religious the God sent people by prophets like Bible (Isa), Islam (Muhammad) and other.. and also other religions that people made or produced or coined. this is a very general answer of course.

Because even before the apostles had finished their earthly course, apostacy had crept into the Christian congregation and Satan had begun to sow discord. God reveals truth to those who look for it with proper motive--not with getting money as their goal. The Bible says, you received free so give free. Also, many people still look at the Bible to prove what they believe rather than to find out what God is trying to teach them.

Huh? the bible is a religious text of just one religion; and even that is the result of editors deciding what to include in it, and it's available in many languages and translations.

Ask satan. Christ came to establish HIS CHURCH, notice church is singular NoT PlUrAl. Satan has mixed up as much in this world as he can to make man want to sin. We are told that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD". None of us is beyond sin. Each of us has done so. If man prays and asks for forgiveness on a regular basis he is certainly much better off. I also ask the FATHER to guide me in the things that I do. HE has assisted me in many ways. I feel that CHRIST did HIS part and satan is doing his. What side do you want to be on?? I want to be a winner with CHRIST.

so many ppl decifer the Bible, every different way. For example," thou shalt not KILL> For you it means don't murder someone, and for me,yes it means that too,but it also means not to kill animals, not to kill your brotheren, not to kill babies in utero, not to kill animals for food. So you see? One verse, two different interpretations. That's why.
