Take it from a Scottsdale native: eat at Los Olivos, located at the Scottsdale Civic Center. My family has eaten there for more than 40 years. Cheap, excellent, EXCELLENT tacos, tamales, cheese crisps...

For fast food tacos, I like Del Taco. For dining, I would suggest Arriba or Rubios. All three are in North Scottsdale.

I don't know if any of these places are in Scottsdale but El Pollo Loco and Rubio's (my favorite!) have good tacos. They're in Mesa.
