When I was in Junior High, I had a teacher that really made me feel weird--there was just something about him that I never liked from day one. This is going to be lengthy, but I want to give all the details so that you can make a fair judgement here.

I went to a private (Christian) school, and all my teachers were wonderful. Of course, they had their moments like all teachers, but for the most part they were really great--except for one teacher. It was his first time teaching at a school, but he had worked alot with youth in the past. He was the husband of one of the other teachers at my school (she was my 4th grade teacher). Since my classmates and I really liked his wife, we figured we'd really like him too. He was fun and made class interesting, but as time went on I felt more and more uncomfortable around him. He did things that would either creep me out, scare me, or just make you go "What the heck?"

His wife is working in the same school. I suspect that he would behave in a sexual way to anyone. There is too much to lose. Unless , he specifically does something to you that anyone would be scared of in general, there is no concern here. If you see the things that he does in public, and if you're the only person scared and no body else feels scared, then it's just your perception problem. If you feel almost many others in your class feel this way about him, then it's a legitimate issue.
However, unless this person indulges in your personal life direclty, there is no concern. Sometimes we have feelings like that towards some people, even though they haven't done anything bad to us.

If you are concerned he might do something wrong, you need to find an adult you trust to talk to. Get spacific with the details and let them help you decide if you need to go to the school authorities about this man. You obviously think there might be a problem. Just remember, you know what he has been like. Find someone to help you determine if he might be "dangerous" to any student. If they say not, you have done your part. Find an adult you trust as soon as you can and tell them this is VERY important. Good Luck.

I had a teacher like that as well and dropped the class because of him. Now I am on my girls who are in school about there teachers and tell them to come to me or there dad if they come upon the same situation. If u had a strange feeling there was a reason for it.

Always trust your gut! If you're feeling this strongly about him, chances are there is something odd, to say the least.
I know you said this was when you used to go there. You don't say how old you are now. I 'm not sure theres anything you can do, unfortunatly.
You're going on your gut and not facts. You can try talking to the principle to see if there has been complaints about this guy, but I'm telling you he probably won't give you any info.
I'm sorry you had to go through that.

We had a creepy teacher. You could actually see him getting aroused at times through his trousers. He would always pick girls out of the class to demonstrate things that required him touching them. He was married to another teacher too I think but from a different school.

just becasue people are married and work at the same school doesnt mean they can be perverts. i had a p.e. coach that gave me the creeps and after i graduated i found out that he had affairs with several of the students. ALWAYS GO WITH YOUR INSTINCT it is there for a reason. ask your child if he or she feels uncomfortable and if they are then get them out of the class. i had the same feelings.
