I used to live in South Texas and was allergic to Mt. Cedar. I no longer live there and I sure don't miss the Mt Cedar season. On a trip back to Texas last week the Mt Cedar counts were very high but I just started getting sick (the day after I left). Is it possible that I am just now feeling the effects of the pollen? Also, is it too late to take allergy meds since I am no longer exposed?

it depends, sometimes it may take a few seconds, however it might take up to 3 days. Try to stay calm and do not misuse allergy meds
