I have naturally curly hair and I use a straightening gel and blow it dry while brushing it...it works really well. I use Biosilk silk straight gel.

You can use a blow dryer by brushing you hair the opposite direction until the hair is almost dry then brush it in the direction you want the hair to go until it is completely dry. You may need to do this a few times until the hair is straight and manageable. You can eventually train your hair to do this.

wash your hair with good conditioner but dont wash the conditioner out immidiatley. leave it in for about 3 mins. ( will amek your hair alot smoother and softer). then wash it out with hot not warm but hot water slowly. dry your hair and take a comb with lots of picks and start brushing down. thats the most logical way of doing it w/o using a straightner or a blow dryer

A lot depends on the kind of hair you have. If you have Afro Hair, you can have it pressed at the beauty salon. Another alternative is blow drying.

cut it about 2-3 inches long and gel. is the only way to go if you do not want to straighten. blowing dry hair also helps straighten hair.

I would get a flat iron. Get one that is ionic with adjustable heat and ceramic plates because they work the best.
