Should all of the land mass south of the Rio Grande be sparsely populated, with only the elderly and elite living off the receipts sent back home? The entire Latin American block of countries need to move into the 21st century and quit relying on the US to take their problems.

And how about these dual citizens? Will they vote for the best interests of America or their homeland? Could I be given voting rights in Mexico to even out the impact here? Of course that's not only to happen.

They will not vote for the best interest of America, they only want all the freebies. If we fly a American flag in Mexico, we would probably be shot on the spot. I do not need anyone to use my leaf blower, I can do that myself.

Actually, the Latin countries in general are not so backwards. They certianly have different morays, that's for sure.

My first objection is to let in more Mexicans than any other group. A few no problem but not 10 of them and one of everyone else in the world. Makes no sens. No matter how good they are, and many are way good. Even the illegals.

My second concern is that if you let these people in illegal to legal, they are going to want the same wage as the rest of us. That will be an interesting fight should it occurr. Then we will need yet MORE illegals or whatever.

Third, the children of these illegal organisms are going to be moe or less just like American children. Same culture, same TV m.o.'s same jeans, etc etc. Do you think they are going to be cutting lawns and digging ditches? I don't. What we will have done is increase the AMerican popultion, 10 to 1 against the influx of all other immigrants and the orientation will turn towards Mexico and against others. Then there's the 3rd wave of illegals.

I don't know how others feel, but as I have watched the legal, Latin proponents argue FOR the illegals, most of whom are Mexicanos, they are constant whiners about how nobody is treating Latins fairly. Does anyone think that will change? I don't.
A huge influx of Latins (most of whom are Mex.) will tear us apart politically in both the short and long run.

I don't understand why you think people want to leave their home land and risk their lives to be a leave blower, fruit picker, or toilet cleaner...Of course they don't want to do that. But desperate times call for desperate measures.
Latin American, Mexico in particular has a vast list of natural resources that they could rely upon. The number one problem they have is that the government is so horribly corrupt that it is a disaster! We (the US) need to sanction Mexico until they clean up their government - they wont do it without motivation.
The people of Mexico want to be Mexican. They want to be with their families - however, they also want to survive.

then the US needs to stop relying on non-Americans for cheap labor, and that goes for Mexico, China, and so on. if the US gvmt. was willing to pay & invest in their own citizens instead of sending/selling blue-collar jobs overseas and stop trying to eliminate the middle class then we would just be a bunch of happy campers wouldn't we? reality just kinda bites u in the @ss sometimes doesnt it. we have to start from the source of the problem & obviously the USA doesn't feel thats just a big enough issue at this point. BTW, Should an American dream of flipping burgers on a daily basis, don't think so. dream on....

Yes, and America has been sold out by some our elected politicians to various "special Interests" groups, lobbyists, and foreign nationals, who in turn deliver "special favors," to them.

They call it "give & take," but we all know it is mostly, "take."

Unfortunately, neither the DNC nor the RNC wishes
to do anything about the problem; therefore, your vote is meaningless.

It's funny that you insult Mexicans but they're the ones doing jobs that you white "owners" of AMerica refuse to do cause you think too highly of yourselves.

USA and Canada are based on immigration and it was created it by the minorities (whites were a minority at one time).
