It is safe to use on dogs. What kind of rash is it though? The neosporin is a triple antibiotic ointment and will only help with infection. You may be using it for nothing. It is safe for animals.

it's not toxic to dogs, but you need to take your dog to the vet and find out the source of the rash. if it's an yeast infection neosporin won't help it any, and could make it worse. your dog needs to be seen by a vet and a skin scraping done of the area, or a swab to determine exactly what it is. and neosporin is nothing more than a triple antibiotic cream used by vets under a generic name. it's not toxic, but not widely used in the ear. but you must find out what this is first and use whatever your vet tells you to.

is it a topical rash on the outside of the ear? if so you could try the neosporin but if is in the inside DON'T,, you can get ear wash and gentocin etc. even panalog from your vet - very inexpensively.. your dog may have mites, allergies, or yeast infection would be best to get it checked out.

Yes. It is just a triple antibiotic ointment. I use it on all kinds of small animals at work. And I work at a vet and hear people doing it all the time. It will not heal it, but it will help from becoming an infection.

Sense your baby can't lick his or her ears sure you can use neosporin.I use it on minor things until I can get to a vet.Make sure he doesn't have ear mites or ear infection. With either of those there is a foul smell and dark junk in ears.Take it to the vet if you are unsure.Good luck!!!!

No, sorry. Check with your vet about any topical meds you can buy at the pet supply or feed store to help. Neosporin is toxic.
