Fish has a higher amount of protein. Certain types of fish are more fattier that others. For example salmon has 61% of fat while white perch only has 7%. Chicken breast in also very low in fat, but make sure it's skinless. Fish has about 20% less cholestrol. It doesn't matter where you walk ; just walk.
Good Luck!

This pretty much depends upon personal preference.

Aerobic exercise in the outdoors is very invigorating, and keeps one from getting too bored. It also has the benefit of subtle hills, etc. which condition other, peripheral muscles which also lessens the chances of overuse injuries.

No more than 40 minutes per day/4-5 days per week.

If you like to run, then go for it.

Other options include bicycling, walking, skipping rope, swimming, you get the idea.

A treadmill, or an exercise machine is a good idea if there are other issues to consider (i.e., crime/violence, inclement weather, extreme environmental issues -too hot/too cold/smog alerts/etc.-).

As far as food, lean towards including more fresh vegetables into your diet (don't torture yourself, just add the veggies ...).

Cut out the fast food (McTaco Jr.'s, other processed stuff).
Fish and chicken are both great and there are LOTS of really cool recipes out there (right here on Yahoo Answers, actually).

Good luck, I hope this helps!

Hey calm down now! Not so many questions at once. lol. Its fine to run on a treadmill if you cant get out. There is definitly a difference. When you have been jogging on the spot for over a month your body is no longer shocked, matter of fact it is in a state of relaxation, youre not challenging your body therefore youre not really burning much fat. Jogging does allow you to go up hill and down hill still it also lacks in much activity and muscle shocking/
Consider doing interval work outs

Also instead of considering a diet, consider a calorie or pyramid plan. It doesnt seem like you have much to loose, but once you loose it you want to maintain it so, one of those would be best.
The link below has all that and more.

Actually, it's better to run on an eliptical machine. It helps reduce the impact on your feet.

And fish tend to have more chemicals in them, because they obsorbe them from the see. Fish also come from fish farms and they tend to be a little more unhealthy.

Chicken is an all around better choice!
