Im 37 & a couple days now & had my 37th wk. appt today.
he just did the normal checking of my belly and babys heartbeat.
at my appt. last week I had my first cervical exam to check if babys head was down--I was dialated last week--but he didnt check me this week

I think it really depends on your doctor & what his usual practices are--you may want to speak to him/her or one of the nurses about what to expect in upcoming appts.

You should expect a hearing of the heartbeat, maybe a check for position of the baby (it is a little early to tell on most woman) Q&A session. And that is about it. Most doctors don't start cervical checks till 36 or 37 weeks.

nothing much same as rest of your visits just your next one will be at 35 weeks and you need to get that GBS test done. then pretty much it becomes weekly visits. Doctor checks your urine also for high proteins.

Probably the same as the last time you went.
