A longer second toe is supposed to mean that you have a dominant personality.
Apparently some studies done in England have been said to show that people with Celtic ancestry (Irish, Scottish, Manx, Breton, etc) tend to have longer second toes

Well my second toe is longer then my big toe , and the only advantage I know of is that I can pick thing up with my toes, things as small as a penny ,can also pinch with them lol !! And it is true I do have a dominant personality. I have also heard that means one of my ancestors was Greek and the adaptation was for walking in sand lol !!

There used to be an old wives tale that said if your second toe was longer than your first then you will be a genius and very successful in life. I am not sure how true it is though because I have never met anyone like that.

RE:
What does it mean when your second toe is longer than your big toe?
I've heard it before, but I can't remember it now?
It tells something about you when your second toe is longer than your big (first) toe.

If your second toe is even slightly longer than your big toe, you might end up with foot problems later in life because the shape of shoes assumes your big toe is the longest toe. This has nothing to do luck and it has nothing to do with words and wordplay. Please be careful where you ask your questions. Thanks.

First of all the "big" toe may be shorter because the bones are shorter and wider for balance, if second toe is longer it should also be for balance for the rest of the foot and so forth down the line of the foot.

My second toe is longer , I haven't heard of any meaning given to it myself though it may help you have better balance.

ABSOLUTELY nothing, the same as why some have a longer nose than others. Genetic factors enter here and are hard if not impossible to trace. It would take a genetic expert generations using intensive inbreeding or line breeding to reach any credible conckusion.

I heard many years ago that it means you are smarter. Mine aren't although my left 2nd is equal. Decided to settle it as I have often thought that I was plenty smart though I guess not really as I wouldn't be answering this question. I'm not a dominant personality either so that may mean something or NOT.
