Most Religions proclaim that the God is Almighty, Pure, Perfect and Good. Why is God only Good when he is the creator of everything which means all good and bad? It seems to me that God as God is would be more Almighty than just Good. Good seems too small and insignificant when the Universe and all creation added together is bigger than that. If that be the case, would perfection then be the sum of all things? (namely the good, the bad and all else).

Jean M says evil did not come into the picture until Lucifer rebelled against God. Why then would Lucifer rebel if God which is "All Good" create and "All Good " Angel (which is whats more the Angel of Light), that would suddenly learn bad and rebel against God? Why would God who knows only Good be able to create something bad? Could I be clear if free will was also given to Angels? Or was God not in total control of his team?

He can't be totally benevolent if he was the creator of this world, because horrible things happen here every damn day... Furthermore, he can't be all knowing if he is totally benevolent. If he IS all knowing and totally benevolent, then he can't be all powerful... And in all these cases, he can't be perfect...

God is all love, pure good, full of wisdom and is a being that is ageless, timeless, perfect and unchanging. God made all things, and when He was done, He proclaimed that they were good.
Gen 1:31. And God saw all the things that he had made, and they were very good. And the evening and morning were the sixth day.
The beginning of the Book of Genesis shows us the order in which God made all things. However, evil did not enter into the picture until Lucifer, the angel of light, rebelled against God and then tempted the first man and woman to disobey Him.
Perfection is in God alone. He calls us to strive after Him in perfection, following Him in the way to which you are called. Call out to Him saying: Lord, although I am still in my sins, please look with mercy upon me and lead me from this wilderness that I find myself mired in.
We are all born into sin, and from this wilderness God will lead us to Himself. Do not be afraid. He made you in your mother's womb to have life, gifted you with a soul and will enkindle in your soul His life, just call on His Name. We are told to call Him our Heavenly Father, Creator of all things.
For best guidance, my advice would be to seek the counsel of a Catholic priest. There are special groups and classes you can go to learn more, to become a prayerful person, and to aspire to a faith in God. The priest will also give you his counseling.

Tricky question. First off, what is God? In short, God is your imagination! Never heard that, huh? Yes, God is YOUR imagination. There is nothing else. Your imagination is good because it works every time you use it! Your imagination(God) is almighty! With your imagination you can create good and bad things, it is your choice. Remember, God is your imagination! What do you want? Do some research on imagination, and you will see what I mean.

God is good. God is perfect. God does not include bad, evil or imperfect so God is NOT the SUM of all things. God did not create bad, God created good. God told man not to do, man did, consequence followed.

All God created was/is good. It is how we choose to use it. The fibers of the hemp plant are of great strength and make a great material. The smoke from pot rots your head. Same plant, different use. Sex is good and provides for a strong union between a husband and a wife. Sodomy is non-productive and only spreads disease. See the pattern here? YBIC

In a word, yes, God is all good! He has given man the ability to choose. That's what makes us different from a robot. We are allowed to make mistakes (even though we blame a bad outcome on him), it's still based on our choices in life. He places before us life and death and says to us CHOOSE life. We have to come to Him based on his sovereignty and because He is all knowing, almighty Elohim (God).

Yes,
In the Name of Allâh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
[113:001] Say: "I seek refuge with (Allâh), the Lord of the daybreak,
[113:002] From the evil of what He has created,
[113:003] And from the evil of the darkening (night) as it comes with its darkness; (or the moon as it sets or goes away),
[113:004] And from the evil of those who practise witchcraft when they blow in the knots,
[113:005] And from the evil of the envier when he envies."

Mt 19:16
Now behold, one came and said to Him, "Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?"
Mt 19:17
So He said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments."
