We got a puppy a few years ago. She is mainly a pom, I think. Beautiful dog, but I think she's mixed. Here's a few photo's, see if you can help?

I work for a shelter and we have to identify mixes all the time. I would say from the pics she is a purebred, but low quality Pomeranian. Defineitley NOT a Peke like someone suggested. Poms do share some physical resemblance to Chihuahuas in the head area. But this is clearly not a Chi.
This dog does not look like a high quality Pom, so you would not be able to show her and you certainly should never breed her. Just spay her if you have not already and love her.
Breeds and papers really don't add anything to the quality of life of your dog. They just give you bragging rights and who needs that? Brag about how smart she is instead or how cute or the quality of her fur or how much she loves you. All that is more valuable than some old papers anyway. But if you just have to brag on your dog's parentage, make up something. Who's to know?
She looks fabulous and you should be very proud to show her off.

It's a bit tricky to say for sure from the photos (a little dark), but I think she is a purebred Pomeranian, just not "show quality." If she is a mix, I would bet one of her parents was a pure Pom and the other was a Pom mix. She looks a lot like a friend's pup who we think is Pom/Long-haired Chihuahua.

She looks like a Pom to me.....just may not meet all of the AKC breed standards.

She is ADORABLE!!!! All I see in her is Pom. I work for a no-kill animal shelter. Identifying mixes is so hard. Just call her a Pom. She is so cute!

Thats pomeranian.
We often tell people they are mixes even when we know they are full. People often feel more like they have "rescued" when its a mix.

If she is mixed with anything else, it must not be very much. She looks full blood. She is a cutie.

i cant really tell but i guess her muzzle is wider then most poms rit?..so think breeds with that kind of muzzle
