Yes. They tend to be more procratinate and look to the good sides of most things. They aren't depressed and make the people around them feel better. They most definitly are happier than people who have a shitty relationship, either are abused or getting used..or really dont love the person they are with. these people tend to be less engergetic, more likely to be a push over and think badly of relationships...Not saying this a statistic but this is how i think things are...or at least they seem to be.

Generally speaking, people in good relationships live longer and have less issues with their lives. Part of that is because they have someone else for support, they don't suffer from lonliness as often, there's a dual income there (typically), and we humans were designed to be social creatures. Even those with close friends/family but not a romantic relationship tend to do better (in general) than people who primarily keep to themselves or don't have close family or pals to share things with.

Yeah I think people in good relationships do better in life, they have some one else giving them strength when they are weak and they have some one to help them up when they are down, they have an extra boost where others don't, they are also given confidence by their other half to be able to succeed in things. So yeah people in good relationships do better in general.

Are you referring to a bf/gf relationship, or any type of relationship?
A good relationship of any sort (bf/gf, parents, friends), can be a positive factor in someone's life. If you know that someone loves you and supports you, you gain confidence in yourself, you have something to smile about, someone to help you in your struggles, someone to ask advice to, and someone who will accept you for who you are. Of course, it will make you happier and more optimistic in life.

If anything, I think people are better off being absolutely single. That's how you keep yourself from being distracted from what really matters, i.e. careers, friends, etc. There are a lot of people who just can't handle being in a relationship with everything else they have on their plates. I'm one of them.

I would think so.
According to the Bible: "one can move one thousand, but, two can move ten," kinda puts the question in perspective.
Every strong man needs a strong woman beside him, not behind.
