Of course not. I genuinely feel sorry for anyone who believes in anything so sick.

Every single day there must be 10,000 of these questions asked here. They all have the same answer, and that is up for you to decide. Scienceand factual evidence can only take you so far in spiritual areas. The rest is faith, whether it be faith in God, Allah, scientology, or evolution. It may take you a whole lifetime to figure out what you really believe in. You may have conflict inside that is never resolved. IS there really such a thing as Hell? At this point, none of us know. It is what you BELIEVE, what you feel INSIDE, deep down. You're just going to have to wait and find out like the rest of us when we die.

Not as the catholics depict it but htere is a kind of one. This is what I mean. The bible calls it like fire and brimstione. Brimstone has a unique property that it burns from the inside out. Now think of the feeling you might of had when you did something wrong and got caught maybe for the first time. Remember that feeling in your chest. Well when you die before the coming of christ you go to a prison of such and you know all of your sins. this is the burning from all your sins that havent been repented of. This is gods way of perfecting you so you can enter into heaven. he must refine you like silver is refined. Burn out the impurities but not with actual fire. Contrary to catholic belief those qualifying for this Hell will not be there forever only until they are purified and they will take their place in heaven. That is the most basic answer I have.

Yes, there is a town in Switzerland by that name, and there is an Afterlife region but it is spelled H-E-L and is said to be the place in which the Norse goddess of the winter and cold dwells. It is also the place those who broke the laws of the divine and mortals, in the Norse traditions, go after they die.
The christian concept of Hell is a hodge-podge of ideas: the Greek Tartarus, Norse Hel, Viking Valhalla and Folksang, and Roman Hades provided the basis for regions where the souls of the dead dwelled after their bodies died, as well as places for souls who had committed hainous crimes against the gods and their fellow men during their life times AND places for souls who were the empitamy of honor, loyalty, and lawfulness.
And yes, Revelations mentions a place of punishment for those who have commited grevious sins, but you also have to remember Revelations is talking about what will happen to the how-ever-many Christians taken away from the earth after the Second Coming. Also, the ENTIRE book of Revelations is a metaphore.
As to wheither or not these places really exist, no one will truly know until their time comes. Sort of a depressing way to end my point, but it's the truth. All you can do is guess based on your beliefs and you've seen of the world.

If you refuse to follow God, there has to be some place for you as you obviously are NOT going to like heaven very much.
That someplace is called hell. Forget the physical attributes of stink and heat, etc. The REAL pain of hell is realizing that you made the wrong decision and it's no longer possible to change your mind and you know it. Wherever you are, it's not near God and that's the only place you can be truly happy. Now you've foregone that place and happiness just isn't in the cards any longer. ICK!

My belief is that we create our hell or our heaven here on earth in this lifetime.
I've noticed this more as I have gotten older. People who abused their bodies have health problems or die early. Those that abuse family ,loose family.
Those who commit crime most often end up in jail, and their families disintegrate.
Their chance to improve their standard of living or to regain their lives,is virtually nil. They suffer inability to gain good jobs,so crime often becomes a way of life, which is a living hell.
Those who kill, usually suffer great remorse at some stage, unless they are insane.
These are just a few examples.I won't go on and on as I think you get my point.
I do believe in hell, but not the biblical interpret ion of it.
I believe it is the reverse for heaven.
Have you noticed when you do good things, you feel good inside, that's heaven.
Being at peace with your conscience, surrounded be loving friends and family.

Planet Earth is an intermediate hell. In our planet there is a 50/50 balance of happiness and suffering. There are other planets where there is more suffering and the other way around. It is compared to a prison house, where we, the inmates, are imprisoned and made to suffer in the forms of birth, disease, old age and death and also calamities caused by other living entities and our own mind and senses.

In the KJV of the Bible, the Hebrew word sheol is translated many times as hell and the Greek word hades is also translated as hell. Both sheol and hades are both words meaning grave or burial place, so in the KJV, hell is mankinds common grave.
Hell is not a fiery place of torment. The hellfire doctrine is a false teaching that slanders God by making him out to be uncaring, unloving and sadistic towards his imperfect creation. What does the Bible really teach about hell? Consider these facts--
All people both good and bad go to the Bible hell. What Scriptures prove this? Here are a few:
Psalm 139:8--"If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there."
Amos 9:2--"Though they dig into hell, From there My hand shall take them; Though they climb up to heaven, From there I will bring them down."
Jonah 2:2--"And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice."
Revelation 1:18--"I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death."
Psalms 146:3,4--"Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish." [ The dead cannot feel anything, neither pain nor pleasure for they have no thoughts ]
Ecclesiastes 3:19-20--"For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity. All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again." [ So what happens to both people and animals when they die? They all go to the same place.]
Revelation 20:13-14--"And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." (Hell delivers up the dead, meaning a resurrection from the grave, and what happens to death & hell? They are thrown into the lake of fire, meaning total destruction.
No more hell or death---what a wonderful promise from our creator who is a God of love.

Some are taught in church that Hell is a place of suffering where evil souls go and Heaven is where good people go.
This is not a bible teaching:
Did Abraham die and went to a ever-burning hell? Surely idol worshippers would not be in heaven. Yet, Abraham was with his forefathers, Scripture says.
Joshua 24:2 - "Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor; and they served other deities," Genesis 15:15. "And you shall go to your fathers".
King David was a righteous king he must of gone to heaven? NO?
Acts 2:34 - For David did not ascend into the heavens.
When Lazarus died Jesus spoke to Martha that he was in Heaven? NO?
John 11:11 - Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.
Besides Jesus there must of been some one righteous enough to go to heaven? NO?
John 3:13 - No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man.
When Jesus kingdom arrives he promised the good will go to heaven. NO?
Matthew 5:5 - Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
Surely people who are holy as saints and priests will rule with Jesus in heaven? NO?
Revelation 5:10 - You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth."
finally, the second death (from Rev 21:8) is a location for bad people to suffer in a fiery place. NO?
Rev 20:14 - And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
-The Second death is a judgment not a location. Jesus is promising that those who are not wicked will be resurrected and never die again. (Rev 20:15)
Verdict: Death is Hell. It's the grave where we are like in a sleep like state but have no conscience thought. Waiting to be brought back to life if we have followed Jesus teachings.

Yes even Jesus says so. Would you want to spend eternity with someone you hate? Why would God want to force someone to be in heaven when they don't want anything to do with God?
